Changing Our Pronouns
What after all is the main cause of fear? The answer is self—self-love, self-concern and self-protection. Fearful people are really to absorbed in self. How can I do this? What if I fail? It’s all about "I." Fearful people are constantly turning in upon themselves. Looking at themselves and concerned about themselves.

We are called to a life of following Jesus. One thing can be consistently said of Jesus’ life and ministry: He was others-focused. But the nature of His being others-focused is really due to the fact that He was ultimately focused on HIs Father’s will—loving those His Father loves. This is the crux of the Great Commandment, love God and love others. We can’t say we love God without also loving those He loves. And love is the perfect remedy for fear! Let’s pray God would shift our pronouns of focus—from self-focus (I and mine) to others-focused (you, yours, their, theirs, we and ours).
